The materials download is a MakeStock materials file. The first row is name,unit,cost_per_unit,stock_on_hand,low_stock_threshold,supplier,sku,notes. Name and unit are required. The price is the cost of one stored unit: 8 per kg is exported as 8 with unit kg, and each is written as pcs. Stock, supplier, sku and notes are left blank. Units are mg, g, kg, ml, l, pcs, mm, cm and m. CSV import is on MakeStock Pro and Plus.

The BOM download is optional, one row per component, with the header product_id,product_title,variant_id,variant_title,material_sku,material_name,quantity,unit. Quantity is the amount used, converted into that stored unit, and it has to be greater than 0. product_id and variant_id are placeholders, gid://shopify/Product/REPLACE and gid://shopify/ProductVariant/REPLACE. Replace them with the Shopify IDs from a template you export in MakeStock before you import.
