Permissions and data
Shopify’s App Store disclosure lists the store owner’s name, email address, phone number and physical address, a customer’s physical address, orders from the last 60 days, payment terms, customer records, and cart and checkout validations. It also lists device and activity details: geolocation, IP address, browser and operating system. The gap check uses terms you paste. Listing screens show that it does not read the policy pages saved in Shopify admin, and that it does not change those pages until you approve publishing. It is not legal advice. Shop data is deleted when Shopify sends the shop-redact webhook after uninstall.

Yes. You can install free and preview the generated terms. Publishing is a one-time $12.99 USD charge. There is no free trial.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Published pages stay unlocked after the one-time payment. Optional Keep terms updated is $2.99 USD every 30 days. Cancelling that optional plan does not lock pages you already published.
Is this legal advice?
No. MakeTerms generates draft wording, including cancellation, returns and delivery, from the product types you sell. It is not legal advice.
