Shopify sales rep commission apps compared

Several Shopify apps track sales rep and agent commission, and they are built for different jobs. Some are full rep portals where reps place orders. Others, like MakeRep (opens in a new tab), focus on working out who is owed what. This page compares five, using only what each App Store listing says.

MakeRep

MakeRep assigns each Shopify order to a rep with rules you put in order (B2B company or location, discount code, order tag, sales channel, POS location), works out commission per line, and makes it payable when the order is fully paid. The free plan covers 1 rep. Pro ($5.99/month, up to 10 reps) adds product, collection and tiered rates, targets and bonuses, refund clawbacks, PDF and CSV statements, Xero, QuickBooks and bank payout files, and private rep pages. Plus ($8.99/month) adds unlimited reps, commission on margin, POS staff credit, rep discount codes and weekly rep emails. Premium ($12.99/month) adds territory tools: region reports per rep, territory coverage gaps, auto-assigning new customers to their area’s rep, territory commission splits and ship-to town and region on statements. It is not a rep ordering portal: reps do not place orders through it. It is new and has no reviews yet.

CSS Sales Team

The listing describes a branded rep portal with B2B quotes, payment terms and order management, assigning customers or orders to reps, automatic commission calculations and monthly reports, commission by product, order or customer, and affiliate links and discount codes per rep. Starter is $9.99/month for up to 10 reps with a 0.5% fee on tracked sales; Growth is $49.99/month (0.3% fee, up to 30 reps); Enterprise is $299.99/month (0.1% fee, up to 100 reps). It has the most reviews of the apps here. A good fit if you want reps to order through a portal.

Sales Reps Commission Manager

The listing describes automated order assignment with several methods, custom commission rates, sales reports, paid-commission tracking and exportable reports. Plans are Starter $15/month, Professional $30/month and Enterprise $60/month (unlimited reps and POS support), each with a 14-day free trial. It has been on the App Store since 2014.

Velocity: B2B Sales Rep Portal

The listing describes a sales rep portal with in-person mobile ordering, linking orders to reps across channels and real-time commission calculations. Premium adds territory mapping, auto-assigning orders by territory and a multi-level team hierarchy. It is priced per rep: Basic $25/month and Premium $50/month for each sales rep.

Soryk ‑ B2B Sales Reps

The listing describes a wholesale ordering tool for sales agents, with buyer self-service, catalogs and, on higher plans, a commission engine, area-manager hierarchy and override commissions. Plans run from Direct at $49/month (1 agent) to Pro at $399/month (unlimited agents), with a 30-day free trial. It launched in July 2026 and has no reviews yet.

How to choose

  • If reps need to place orders for customers in a portal or on the road, look at CSS Sales Team, Velocity or Soryk. MakeRep does not do that.
  • If orders already come in through Shopify (online, B2B, POS or with a rep’s code) and you mainly need the commission worked out and statements, MakeRep is the lowest-cost option here and free for one rep.
  • If you have reps in territories, Velocity Premium lists territory mapping.
  • Watch for fees on sales and per-rep pricing. They change the real cost a lot as you add reps.
